Toss the Turtle

"Incredibly fun"

submission: Toss the Turtle

Best shoot out game I've ever played. I bet nobody here beat 2million feet without using a nuke.

Crush the Castle: PP

"Lack of logic found"

date: December 19, 2009

Nice game but there's no logic behind support. You could create a castle with a wood post supporting a metal beam, last I checked wood couldn't support the weight of metal, it also gets frustrating when you knock down the entire castle and one guy survives because there is a single wood post holding up half a castle.

Phage Wars 2

"Original but easy"

submission: Phage Wars 2
date: December 12, 2009

The game is fun original well thought out and involves strategy...until you get about half way through. After a while the genomes are incredibly overpowered and you can max strength, defense, and reproduction and using just those 3 stats win every match. Heck I played through the last level with those 3 stats maxed, I didnt move an inch until the pc had taken every cell and I still won. I would suggest making the other viruses improve relative to yours so that you cant just max all your stats and slaughter the enemy.

Crop Circles

"WAY WAY WAY WAY TOO EASY"

submission: Crop Circles
date: November 7, 2009

I played this on hard expecting a challenge. It was challenging...until around the 10th wave when I got 3 missile launchers to max level and a flamethrower. At that point I just planted around 30 stealth mines near the barn and got 2 more flame throwers and 2 more missile launchers for good measure. Walk away for 10 minutes and come back to learn not a single stealth mine went off and I still had max lives. This game was incredibly easy to beat even on the hardest difficulty setting, all you have to do is set overlapping crop circles that force them to walk back and forth 30 times and you can set all your guys to be constantly attacking. Also the lack of a cap on the number of towers you can have, I could potentially make 50 of the weakest towers maxed out and still win. This game is so easy an 8 year old can play it on the hardest setting and still win.

Shore Siege!

"Good game and very creative but..."

submission: Shore Siege!

It was much too easy. Try upping the difficulty next time like adding in more behemoth like enemies or make your own weapons weaker since nothing every even touched my ship.

Warfare 1944

"what a drastic turn this sequal has taken"

submission: Warfare 1944
date: August 6, 2009

Well lets start with the good. The graphics look splendid and much improved from modern warfare 1917. The sound effects are excellent and it keeps most of the same gameplay. What's wrong? Most of what was wrong with the original and more. Mortar strikes and air strikes are just as useless as fire support was in the original if not worse. The resource points look like nothing more than a pathetic attempt to butter up the gameplay. The resource points are poorly implemented making it difficult to even consider using more than your standard rifleman, assault, and bazooka squads. Mortar squads again are useless so I never bother with them. Officers again seem to lack the effect to increase damage/morale of surrounding troops and the resources required to use mortar/air strikes just aren't worth it. The tanks are too soft to even be called tanks since they usually die after 2 shots from a bazooka squad. Again resources are a horrible idea mostly because you have to conserve resources and spawning anything more than a rifle, assault, and bazooka squad is just not worth the resources since these 3 squads are the most effective at doing what they do. The game would've been a decent sequel had you not put in the resources. Sure it made the game more difficult but it also took away strategy since units other than the 3 I have already mentioned are either ineffective or just plain not worth the resources. This game needs a lot of work before it can be even considered decent in my eyes. Next time work a little more on the gameplay and less on making the game look pretty.

How to Raise a Dragon

"Not a bad game"

date: July 20, 2009

Though not a good one by any standards. It's a nice simple game to play if you have nothing better to do but it felt over simplified and much to short to be a good game. Regardless it is a nice fun game with a little bit of replay ability and a good bit of creativity. Try to make your next game a bit more difficult or lengthy and more in depth. Until then 6/10 a solid game but nothing special.

Rooftop Runner

"Awful"

submission: Rooftop Runner
date: June 26, 2009

There was no plot which I hated, only 2 characters, the game vibrated almost non stop to the point where I couldn't even see what I was doing. Also the wall jumps were annoyingly impossible to perform and the fact that you don't even really need to stay on the rooftops is kind of stupid and the fall speed needed a lot of work.

Pandemic: EoM

"This game is worse than the 2nd"

submission: Pandemic: EoM
date: June 24, 2009

The game is ok but the gameplay is lacking. All you do is upgrade your virus and make vain attempts at spreading the infection. I used up 12 points trying to infect canada and failed to do so. The fact that adding points to the virus seems to not help at all and it seems to be random chance whether or not you can infect another country. Heck I can't even infect Europe before they get a damn vaccine. It would also help to either give more points or make upgrades more noticable since I could have 5 points in infectivity and still take 6-8 points to just spread the damn thing let alone infect an airport or another country. If you were trying to address the difficulty issues of 2nd one you probably just made this one harder. Try testing the game yourself first before you release it because saying you updated the game to address difficulty issues while the game is still damn near impossible doesn't say you're doing much. Better luck next time and try not to make this a downhill series.
